Los Angeles's freshest and most gourmet cookies are served in this charming little cafe in the heart of the city. Seeing its wooden facade and its pastel colors, a client has only one desire — to push the door to see what is hidden inside, and I can say that I was not disappointed! With a decoration as cute as you could wish, an absolutely delicious smell of homemade biscuits and a display with cookies all as appetizing as the next, the cafe makes one fall back into childhood immediately and creates a very difficult decision between all the amazing kinds of cookies: Banana Split, Chocolate, Pecan-Caramel, Birthday Cake, Strawberries-White Chocolate, Peanut Butter, and more —it's almost a torture!
Generous and fluffy, melting and crisp at the same time, the cookies are so delicious because they are made with love by Courtney Cowan who uses her mother’s recipe and has perfected it over the years. Since she was little, she always brought cookies with her and their popularity was just as high. Then, while she was working in TV production in LA she finally gave in to her passion and opened Milk Jar Cookies in January, 2013. Today the cafe’s success far exceeds Los Angeles since orders come in from all over the United States.
